Grapple saw ZK 1000

The SMZ ZK 1000 is used in forestry for sawing branches and tree trunks. The Grapple saw can easily be mounted on an SMZ 210.4HD grapple. The grab has a quick coupler where you slide the saw box in and secure it with 2 pins.

The Grapple saw is a functional piece of equipment with a hydraulic chain saw. The saw works separately from the grapple, so you can first grab a branch or trunk and then saw off. When the saw is not in use, the blade disappears completely into the housing, so that it is protected and the gripper is completely free. For example, you saw and collect branches and tree trunks, which you can stack, but it is also possible to feed them directly into a shredder. The rotating function of the wood grab allows you to place the cut material in any desired position.

The Grapple saw has a hydraulic chain tensioner, so that the chain always remains at the correct tension. A separate lubrication pump with tank lubricates the chain during its work. The saw blade is firmly mounted on the holder, which reduces the risk of deformation. The Grapple saw is easy to adjust, you can set the saw speed and the force on the blade regulates itself automatically.

The maximum saw diameter is 90 cm.
